Pat is one of today’s most dynamic, creative, & versatile drummers.  Known for his tremendous groove with such artists as Gloria Gaynor, Patti LaBelle, Glen Burtnik, and many others, he has toured the world and recorded with some of the best in the business.  He is currently leading his own group, Groovallegiance, featuring Guitarist Chieli Minucci, Bassist Gary Grainger, and Keyboardist Chris Fischer.  His versatility extends to Broadway, having played numerous shows over the years, including “A Chorus Line”, “Grease”, “Footloose”, and “Dreamgirls”.   From deep pocket R&B/Funk & Pop, to swampy Roots grooves, world rhythms, and fusion, Pat can bring it.

As a popular clinician and educator, he has performed clinics at many events, including PASIC, numerous universities, as well as drum shops and music stores around the world.  His Multi - Media instructional package, “Hands, Grooves, & Fills” (Hudson Limited/Hal Leonard), is a DVD/Book/MP3 Play Along CD, which has received international acclaim for it’s methods for improving hand technique, groove ideas, and fill vocabulary.

Pat received has Bachelor and Masters Degree in Music Education from Morehead State University. He endorses Zildjian Cymbals, GMS Drums, Remo Drumheads, Regal Tip drumsticks, and the S Hoop Drum Hoop. He is featured on www.drummerworld.com and has written for Modern Drummer magazine. Pat is also a visiting instructor at The University of North Carolina/Pembroke.
